Women's Versa 2 Jacket

Love this jacket. The fit is nice and slim so great for running. I wore for for a very rainy race and it kept me fairly dry and I didn’t overheat which often happens in running shells. The detaching sleeves to convert into a vest is brilliant! Highly recommend!

I first purchased the Versa jacket about 10 years ago and absolutely LOVED it. The ability to go from full jacket to vest so easily was amazing. I still have it but literally wore out the magnet attachments.

I purchased this version of the jacket about a year ago -- it's still a great jacket, but two design changes really bummed me out. First and foremost: the wrist openings are SUPER small. They fit fine if you're not trying to take the sleeves on and off, but that is more than half the point of this jacket! Trying to get the sleeves off during a run was a wrestling match. I had to take the jacket to a seamstress to have her cut open and re-sew the wrists. (For reference, I wear a size 4 and purchased size Small, which fits great otherwise. The wrist sizing is oddly small.)

The second design change is there are maybe half the number of magnets and some velcro used as well to attach the sleeves and vest together. Not nearly as good as the original.

Hope Sugoi will consider changing these features back to the original in the next version!

I ordered a size up as the design is slim fitting. I can now wear a sweater or a vest underneath if need be. The design is fantastic and serves for lots of uses, especially if hiking/cycling/kayaking in the morning and then need less coverage (remove sleeves) in the afternoon when the sun is out and/or after warming up while doing the sport of choice.

Fantastic! First time I wore the jacket it POURED. Kept the rain out and warmth in. I’m stoked on the ability to turn it into a well-vented vest when it warms up!
