These are great shorts, good length, sufficient padding for 3-4hr ride. Sits a bit low on waist but still high rise.

Women's Evolution Zap Shorts

I've only worn these shorts once, on a 45 mile ride, and the shorts and its chamois were comfortable for the complete ride. I'm pretty sure they will be comfortable for even longer distance rides.
