Eurobike. The biggest and most respected bike industry show on the planet. This is where the cycling world comes to show off their latest products, and for a select few, pick up it’s biggest prize. This year SUGOI’s VP of Design Rob Gill took home the prize for his design of the Zap Bike Jacket.
The Eurobike Award denotes products that represent outstanding design, quality and functionality. The six-person expert panel selected stand out submissions from over 500 hopeful entries, for the first time in association with the German Designer Club. The awarding jury stated, “The Zap Bike Jacket isn’t just a good rain jacket that has everything to offer in terms of function. We were impressed by the strongly reflective material that lights up the jacket in the dark.”
The secret to the jacket’s full garment illumination is within the Zap Woven fabric. Micro-glass beads comprise 25% of the jackets construction and provides mega-watt reflectivity when hit with artificial light at night.
