The Customer Service Representative is responsible for the maintenance of service and sales within an assigned territory. We are in search of individuals with a positive, friendly approach in providing superior customer service to our European retailers and customers. You must possess exceptional communication skills and have the ability to provide a friendly and professional phone manner to our dealers globally. In providing this service you must possess a competent command of the German language, both oral and written, along with fluency in English. You must be detail oriented with previous retail, sales, or customer service experience and possess a knowledge base/experience with the athletic garment industry an asset. This position may include travel to trade shows.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Enter orders received via phone, fax and email into the JD Edwards system
• Responding to all Customer Requests that come in via phone and email
• Responsible for the day to day support of your assigned outside reps and accounts
• Administrative duties and account maintenance
• Communicate effectively with customers and inside departments to ensure outside sales rep and customer satisfaction
• Provide support in the preparation of the Annual Sales Conference and trade shows.
• Warranty & Returns inquiries (in assistance to the Warranty & Returns department)
• Monitor assigned territory goals set by the Customer Service Manager
• Complete specific tasks requested by the Customer Service Manager
• Working closely with a team as well as independently
  

Minimum Qualifications:

• Post-secondary/recognized credentials in Business, Marketing or relevant field strongly preferred
• Competent written and verbal language skills in German; knowledge of/experience with various business cultures
• Excellent written and verbal language skills in English
• Excellent and professional customer service skills and the ability to work with all levels of the workforce
• Strong attention to detail, multi-tasking and time management skills
• Demonstrated organizational, interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to work in a fast-pasted, high-volume environment and handle multiple interruptions and adjustments to priorities throughout the day
• Working knowledge of MS and Outlook; knowledge/experience with JD Edwards or comparable software a definite asset
• Willing to work extra hours when required
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
• Must posess valid permit to work in Canada
